Greetings, Olympics fans! It’s almost time for the Summer Olympics events to take over our lives as we tune in to see how many medals Team USA can win. We have really grown to love watching these athletes compete with others from around the world and getting the kids to join in the excitement just makes it that much more fun! If you haven’t already grabbed our Summer Olympics-inspired coloring pages, be sure to do that now! Then, go ahead and dive into the word searches we have for you today. We have two levels to choose from so you’ll have something for everyone! The easy one has just 10 words in large font, while the two more challenging puzzles have 20-24 words that are a little harder to find. Plus, all of our word searches have an added layer of fun because they can also be colored when the kids are finished with the puzzle! Easy Summer Olympics Word Search
The first level is perfect for younger kids, with larger fonts and simpler word lists. This word search includes vocabulary that is easily associated with the summer Olympics, such as rings, sports, medal, torch, and more. As children search for these words, they not only build their reading skills but also reinforce their understanding of the themes of the event. This smaller word search is a great option for beginning readers. The puzzle contains large text with 12 words that are easy for younger kids to read. Also, there are no diagonal words.
